I think the main and only benefit is that the interface is translated into Khmer. I do not believe there is any extra functionality or compatibility with Khmer (unfortunately).

Anyone knows how to create Khmer Numbering List in Office 2010?
There is no way to make a Khmer numbered list in Word 2010 to my knowledge. One of the reasons to use OpenOffice or LibreOffice, because they support Khmer locale numbering.
